Ne-Chee Friendship Centre

The Ne-Chee Friendship Centre is a place of community, culture, and support for Indigenous individuals and families in Kenora, Ontario. We offer a wide range of programs and services focused on empowerment, healing, and wholistic health. Our programs are rooted in cultural knowledge and guided by our commitment to support and uplift the lives of Indigenous people in our community.

What We
Offer

Ne-Chee Friendship Centre is proud to offer a diverse range of services focused on well-being, cultural preservation, and personal empowerment. Our programs are designed to serve all age groups and address the unique needs of Indigenous individuals and families.

Children & Youth

Our Children & Youth programs are dedicated to nurturing a strong sense of identity, well-being, and personal development for Indigenous youth. These programs focus on fostering cultural pride, healthy choices, and skills for future success.

Employment & Education

Our Employment & Education programs aim to empower community members by helping them achieve academic success and career goals. These programs provide guidance, skills training, and resources to remove barriers and support career growth.

Health

Our Health programs focus on holistic well-being, providing culturally appropriate physical, mental, and emotional health support for all ages.

Justice

Our Justice programs offer culturally rooted alternatives to traditional justice systems, focusing on healing, rehabilitation, and community reintegration.

Support Ne-Chee Friendship Centre

The Ne-Chee Friendship Centre relies on community support to maintain our services and grow our programs. If you would like to contribute, there are several ways to get involved:

  • Volunteer – Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting our daily activities and events.
  • Membership – Join the Centre as a member and attend our Annual General Meeting. Membership fees are $1.00 for individuals and $3.00 for families.
